Mamy przyjemność ogłosić, że Akademia Młodych Uczonych Polskiej Akademii Nauk objął Patronatem Honorowym VII Konferencję Doktorantów PAN (KonDokPAN 2023).
Akademia Młodych Uczonych (AMU) została powołana do życia w 2010 r. na mocy ustawy z dnia 30 kwietnia o Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Członkowie AMU wybierani są przez uznanych naukowców spośród młodych badaczy wyróżniających się wybitnymi osiągnięciami naukowymi. Członkami AMU są zarówno osoby pracujące na uczelniach, instytutach PAN, instytutach badawczych i innych jednostkach prowadzących badania naukowe w Polsce. Działania AMU obejmują m.in.: opiniowanie, apelowanie, wydawanie stanowisk w sprawach Nauki i ważnych dla Nauki, organizowanie debat, dyskusji i konferencji naukowych, popularyzacja nauki, upowszechnianie standardów etyki wśród młodych naukowców. AMU działa również na arenie międzynarodowej: jest członkiem sieci European National Young Academies, przewodniczy sieci Young Academies Science Advice Structure, która jest częścią europejskiego mechanizmu doradztwa naukowego dla polityki, współpracuje z innymi Młodymi Akademiami m.in. w zakresie polityki naukowej czy dialogu między nauką a społeczeństwem.

We are pleased to announce that the Polish Young Academy has taken on the Honorary Patronage of the VII Conference of PhD Students of PAS (KonDokPAN 2023).
Polish Young Academy (PYA) was established in 2010 under the Act of April 30th on the Polish Academy of Sciences. Members of PYA are selected by recognized scientists among young researchers distinguished by outstanding scientific achievements. PYA members include individuals working at universities, institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, research institutes, and other research organizations in Poland. The activities of PYA include, among others: providing opinions, making appeals, issuing positions on matters related to science and important for science, organizing debates, discussions, and scientific conferences, popularizing science, promoting ethical standards among young scientists. PYA also operates on the international stage: it is a member of the European National Young Academies network, chairs the Young Academies Science Advice Structure network, which is part of the European scientific policy advice mechanism, and collaborates with other Young Academies on issues such as science policy and the dialogue between science and society.
